AAC Chat Club

April 11 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Board Games Anyone?

Saturday April 11th from 2pm to 4pm at the Appleton Public Library.

Bring your device and your family/caregivers as we explore using AAC in everyday settings. Meet other AAC users! Learn the latest and best practices in AAC. Any AAC device is valid – from low tech pictures and symbols to high tech devices. See how others use their voice and discover new ways to play games and use assistive technology. Come socialize with ages of AAC uses from 3 – 99 years old, be a mentor, and get mentored. We all have ideas to share!

The AAC Chat Club provides a unique opportunity for AAC communicators of all ages to use their communication systems and to develop relationships with others who communicate like them. Parents and caregivers have the opportunity to network and learn from each other. Many resources and tips are shared between families, caregivers, and the AAC communicators.

If you’re interested in setting up an AAC Chat Club in your area, please contact us!
